Little man in a big world.

 Today my oldest son starts Kindergarten. I was not the blubbering mess that I thought I would be but I had so many emotions last night as we were getting things ready for the big day. He went to the PreK program at the same school so I had an idea of how things would go. The PreK program was great way for him to get to know the school at a part time bases. He started today knowing the lay of the land, understanding how to walk through the hall, knowing where the cafeteria is, the bathrooms, his hallway, some friends. He has been so excited for today and asked all summer when he gets to go back to school.



















Last night we picked out his cloths for the week, read his new book Clifford Goes To Kindergarten, put new batteries in his Batman alarm clock and had it set and ready for his first day. He helped pack his Ninja Turtles lunch bag; he picked his chips (potato of course), treat (rice crispies), fruit (pluot), veggies (carrot strips), yogurt, juice box, and main meal (mac and cheese).

 First day starts with brushing his teeth, getting dressed in his new school cloths, making the bed. Coming downstairs to a breakfast of pancakes and eggs. Then pictures for his first day.

He was ready with his favorite things Ninja Turtles everything! Ninja Turtles backpack, lunchbox, pencil case.





I love how excited he is about school. I know that this is just Kindergarten but I have such high hopes that he will continue to have a love for learning! He is such an amazing little man. I am excited to see how he does in this Dual Language class and through his year of Kindergarten. He grew so much in Pre-K and I cant wait to see how he grows in Kindergarten.

I don't know why, when it comes to the people who mean the most to me, I am at a total loss for words. Trying to write down how much someone means to me, how much they have impacted my life. Bravely BeLI(e)VING

Some people are gonna ask, so I am gonna put it out there. What is with the new title???? Well a lot has changed in life. I have found I want to expand the things in life that I talk about. "I Am Beautiful (No Matter What I Say)" is still so relevant in my life but I want  to touch base on somethings that I feel God has put in my heart and on my mind. "Bravely BeLI(e)VING" is about bravely believing and living a life that is Christ centered. It is about loving myself the way God made me. Believing, even when every turn seems to have a struggle. Believing, that if I follow the path God puts in front of me I will survive, I will strive, I will change hearts, and I will make a difference if only I bravely believe and live the path he guides me on. Life is not sunshine and rainbows but there can be sunshine even in the worst of the storms. So I will be brave, I will believe, and I will live a life that is beautiful. XOXO, Beautiful

Liar, Liar, Liar....

Liar Liar pants on fire.... First let me warn you don't google liar liar pants on fire and just click the first website on the page to find out the rest of the rhyme.....Yep it pulls up a dirty site that you cant click out of because it keeps resetting to the dirty site! Especially when your kids are sitting in the same room! Worst panic ever trying to close the dang thing down! Anyhow so you can figure I am just NOT going to search the rest of that rhyme. Liar, Liar.... Stupid liar. and yes I am talking about myself. I have realized as I get older that stupid white lies suck. It is so easy to say a little white lie or exaggeration (because yes that is a lie) that turns into a lie you tell yourself that turns into a lie that you really start to believe.
